Mikael Engman has been appointed Technical Customer Service Manager for Metsä Fibre in Singapore. In this role, he will support Metsä Fibre’s customers in South East Asia in technical matters, work closely with the sales team and act as a link between customers and the production units in Finland.
As a self-confessed pulp and paper enthusiast, Engman has extensive experience of the Asian market area, and particularly of South East Asia. He will be moving to Singapore from his previous position in Bangkok, Thailand. Engman has a broad view of the industry, having worked in various duties in the areas of production, technology, start-up, design and technical customer service.
“I see a working career as a continuous learning process, where interesting challenges enable you to develop yourself as a person and a professional. In the new position, I am especially looking forward to working with our knowledgeable team of various experts, and achieving jointly set goals as a team, for the customer’s benefit,” Engman says.
