The project engineering for Metsä Fibre’s bioproduct mill project in Kemi started in early August 2020. This means the detailed planning of the mill’s technology, construction, installations and commissioning, as well as preparation for the construction phase. The project engineering will be carried out together with the four main implementation partners already chosen. From the beginning of August, more than 400 people are working in the implementation planning organisation.
